saucy beta 29 Sept ubiquity stalled before first window

Bug Description
saucy beta daily build 29 sept started "top" then opened install icon. "ubiquity" showed for 3 or 4 seconds then dropped down the display out of sight. After 10 minutes or so, started ubuntu-bug. It's been 17 minutes now, still no ubiquity first window.

Tried an alternative.
Command line sudo killall ubiquity.
Command line sudo ubiquity
"top" showed ubiquity activity continuing.
46 seconds later the ubiquity Install window showed up.
Experience yesterday install will complete from that point.
Why doesn opening the install window, ubiquity starts, then stalls?
