Installing Ubuntu using nothing but the default settings for had drive partitioning, still crashes

Bug Description
Installing Ubuntu on a Edge 11/Lenovo.
While partitioning the hard drive, I received the error it would not see changes on the /dev/sda2 drive until a reboot. And then the installer crashed.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates.
