Bug Description

13.04 Beta1 UbuntuStudio 64 bit

once you get partman working....

Choose "Something Else"
[continue]

On the "Installation type" screen

Look at the disk partition summary slider bar (not sure what you call it)
scroll as needed...

bug: the last partition is missing from the summary bar
see attached screenshot

Expected: all partitions to be displayed in the summary bar
this is probably an off-by-one error

I actually saw it once where the sliderbar was correct, it had all the partitions. but majority of time it does not. not sure what accounts for the difference, but sometimes it does actually work.

I just found that this bug also exists in 12.04 64 bits.

it's not the sort of thing you are likely to notice unless you are looking for it.

my disk has 14 partitons on it that may be a factor.

I now know what the difference is between when it works and when it does not work.

When you first enter this screen, the slider is missing the final partition.

However, after you make a change, e.g. choose an existing partition to install to, then the missing slider bar entry magically appears.

So the initial value is wrong, but the recomputed value is correct.

hmmm... it's even more subtle than that... all you have to do is to click anywhere in the partition list box and the slider gets redrawen correctly.
