Bug Description

I booted a usb live image with secure boot enabled, and performed the installation while choosing the EFI partition for the bootloader. An unsigned version of grub and kernel were installed, causing a security error to be thrown when attempting to boot. Disabling secure boot allowed me to access the installation, I then installed: grub-efi-amd64-signed, linux-signed-generic, and shim-signed. After installing these packages the system was able to boot ubuntu with secure boot enabled.

I've encountered the same problem. I installed Ubuntu 12.10 without any network access from a USB stick created with "usb-creator-gtk -n". I also notice that there are no linux-signed* packages on the live CD install media, although grub2-signed (actually grub-efi-amd64-signed) and shim-signed are there.
