Bug Description

When I was installing Ubuntu 7.04 I deleted two ext3 partitions sdb1 and sdb2. They had contained root and /home partition of Ubuntu Edgy. Then I recreated them with the same size and mount points.

After successful installation, I booted new Ubuntu 7.04. Unfortunetly, fsck came up and it checked the whole root partition. It said that mount time was in the future and volume hadn't been checked for something about 10.000 days. It found some errors and rebooted computer. When I'm writing this bug report I think everything is fine and fsck has repaired all those errors. However, such a situation shouldn't have appeared.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
