Bug Description

I cant't resize a partition or create a new one with Feisty's new partition editor without getting problems. Please include Gparted in Fiesty insted of the new editor or make a Buttom with this text: "Use Gparted" or "Avancered".

Please don't suggest implausible workarounds; we're not going to revert to gparted at this point, and using gparted had so many more problems that it is not a viable long-term solution.

Exactly what problems are you encountering?

Louis,
Can you please elaborate? A step-by-step explanation of what path you're taking and what happens as a result would be best. For example, "I clicked next which brought me to the partitioning page. From there I selected manual partitioning, and pressed next. On the next window I right clicked on one of the partitions and selected delete, but nothing happened."

Thanks!

Without more information from the original reporter, I'm afraid there is little we can do to fix this bug, so I have to close this.

In any case, we'd appreciate re-testing on 8.04, as a variety of partitioning problems have been fixed and it's possible that yours may happen to be among them.
