without syslog(and other files) this here is tricky.

Was there no apport reaction on failing installation -> automatically reporting?

Can you reproduce the crash and uses the automatically reporting? That would give ticket a reliable chance to get handeled further.

Which VB version are you using?

I expected it was an automatically reporting, because the installer opened automatically the Firefox with the bug report website and I logged in. The Dependencies.txt was automatically added to this bug and also the bottom part of the bug description.

My Oracle Virtual-Box-Version: 4.1.22 r80657
Settings (changed from default):
- 8 CPUs
- 4096 MB Ram
- 64 MB Graphic memory
- 3D speedup
- 2D-Video speedup

An other installation without disk encrytion and without LVM but with home directory encrytion was successfully (similar Virtual-Box settings).

In want to try to reproduce it.

Oh sorry, no "2D-Video speedup". This option wasn't supported for Linux...

For now we let it then on incomplete. AFAIK the feature for LVM full disk encryption regarding to bug 1042649 is new, so your report may be of wider interest.
