Bug Description

I was testing this iso: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20120925/quantal-desktop-armhf+omap4.img installing from a SD card to a USB key.
In the "Installation type window" I selected "something else" and tried to modify the USB key partioning.
On this USB key I had a prevoius installation of Ubuntu Beta2, I tried to cancel /dev/sda2 and enlarge /dev/sda1, but the installer got blocked and even if I waited for a long time it kept on having the cursor blinking with a circle and never stopped.
I had to reboot from command line.
I'm attaching a screenshot.

When I rebooted to try to install Ubuntu again and I got to the "Installation type" window, the USB key had only /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2 was gone just like I did previous to reboot.
So it looks like the partitioning scheme I selected worked but the installer did not proceed with installation.
See attached screenshot.

I think I waited about 15 minutes. Do you think I had to wait more ?

depends how fast/slow your usb key is. does it have an LED that indicates activity ? i think it should be actively blinking for most of the process

I will pay attention to the USB key's LED next time I test an image.

I tested today's image: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20120926/quantal-desktop-armhf+omap4.img.
As I said at the beginning, I canceled /dev/sda2 and enlarged /dev/sda2, but I've been waiting for about 35 minutes and nothing happens, still got the cursor blinking on the screen.
The USB key LED is fixed green, it used to be flashing in the beginning.
I think I will give up.
Let me know if I shuould wait even more.
