Bug Description
Today's ISO test (2nd August), AMD64 image, Desktop install, on the "Install, Who are you?" screen. I entered several valid machine names that I know does not exist on my small home network in the "Your computer's name:" field and I always got the error messages in red: "That name already exists on the network.".
This is wrong and misleading. A novice user may then keep on trying to find a unique machine name and then give up with the install if they keep on getting clashing name error messages.
