Bug Description
I did an installation before with the Live CD on the original harddrive. Worked nice. Now I've upgraded the EeePC with a 256 GB OZC Petrol and the installation use to come to the installation of APT and there it crashes. Same with the miniCD and the alternate installer.
I am a total newbie when it comes to linux and ubuntu, and this is my first attempt at installations. I am well versed with computers otherwise, but never used Linux much. But I've learned oh so much during these last few days.

Seems like the problem was the SSD harddrive. After a few retries and reinstallations it refused to work with me at all. Sent it in for RMA and got a new one for the same system which works flawlessly.
