Bug Description

Latest Kubuntu vivid alpha (alpha 2 as of January 22nd)

1. Choose to install Kubuntu 15.04 alpha 2 to your computer
2. Proceed through steps until installation has started (after partitioning)
3. Observe how in the large welcome window, references to 14.10 can be seen on the Welcome slide.

Reproducible: always.

No logs attached as installation was perfect and the hardcoded text slides won't be in the log.

This change appears to already be committed in the upstream version: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubiquity-slideshow/ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu/html/view/head:/slideshows/kubuntu/slides/welcome.html

Since it's already in the upstream source, this fix should be packaged for inclusion in the Kubuntu image before release.

I recently stumbled upon this issue in the review of Lubuntu's slideshow and thought I would update this similar bug.

Because it's already fixed upstream, I think this should be marked as "Fix Committed" & will do so. (But I usually do triage for Lubuntu specific bugs, so if this seems out of line for this package, please let me know)

Changed in ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu (Ubuntu):
status: New → Fix Committed
