Bug Description

Hello
The time zone for Argentina is not correct. Ubuntu 9.04 automatically displays (GMT -3 southern winter / GMT -2 southern summer) but for the summer 2009/2010 Argentina didn't introduced the daylight saving time.
The correct setting should be (GMT -3) for the whole year long.

Thanks for the correction.
I am a longtime happy user, but not a programmer. That was my first report and I don't know exactly how the whole works.
Bye
Edoardo

Hi edopizza,

I appologies if I was expeditive. Is just I am not 100% procent sure that it should be in tzdata.

Thank you very much for your report and you did the right steps in reporting it.

If a bug is set to invalid, this does not automaticaly imply a bad action :)

Thanks again for testing and reporting this problem!

Cheers,
Adi

At the end it was a duplicate of the #453165.
Why the search with the term "Argentina" didn't report the already solved bug?

Hi, I think this is because the bug was reported to Ubuntu Translation project and not to tzdata package.

For example when you report a bug containing Argentina in Ubuntu, it will not show similar bugs from Silva CMS.
