Bug Description

Binary package hint: tzdata

The daylight saving time started on October 15th in Brazil, but the clock wasn't automatically adjusted. The problem seems to be in the tzdata package, since the DST dates change every year in Brazil. Looking at the source code in Ubuntu, I couldn't find the rules for this year. However, in Debian, the rules are there. It affects gutsy, but probably other versions too.

I can confirm this on gutsy. I run my system clock on Eastern European time, but currently I am traveling in Brazil, and KDE's time display for Sao Paulo has been off by one hour since DST started here.
