search fails

[whitis]

 - apt-get install typecatcher
 - also tried ppa, not newer
 - looking for alllerta stencil font, scrolled down through list, did not find it
 - typed stencil in search box. Fails even though there are 4.
 - later happened to find one of the other font names in list and then was able to locate all 4 by name
 - search still fails. Search only finds the word at the begininng of the name, not the second word of the name.

Other observations:
  - lacks the ability to install fonts from the command line
  - Lacks the ability to specify destination directory (i.e. one of the system or local font directories)
