Bug Description

Binary package hint: twidge

When I update status on identi.ca using group tag (!) it gives bash error and no update is sent

eg.
$ twidge update "this a a status update for !ubuntu"
bash: !ubuntu": event not found

I tried the escape character (\) the update is sent successfully but the output is not as desired

eg.
$ twidge update "denting about \!ubuntu"
the escape character is actually posted in the status update as it is ("denting about \!ubuntu") because of which identi.ca does not pick up the group tag correctly and the dent is not included in that group list.
