atril-thumbnailer fails to create .cbr thumbnails

Ubuntu 19.10. atril-thumbnailer fails to generate thumbnails for .cbr files even though cbr's mimetypes are listed in the /usr/share/thumbnailers/atril.thumbnailer file.

Attempting to generate .cbr thumbnails manually works:

$ atril-thumbnailer -s 32 input.cbr output

I think these problems might be related to this but I'm not sure:

I've had the same problem in Ubuntu 20.04 and it turned out that the entry in /usr/share/thumbnailers/atril.thumbnailer was wrong: application/vnd-comicbook.rar instead of application/vnd.comicbook-rar. I changed it and now it works.

Thanks very much! I confirm this works on Ubuntu 20.10. It's just a typo in the /usr/share/thumbnailers/atril.thumbnailer file. The Ubuntu maintainers should correct this.

I've faced this same problem on Xubuntu 22.04, solved with addiction of application/x-rar to atril.thumbnailer file.

I've confirmed that the typo is located in the Atril repository, in 3 files (on branch ubuntu/devel):

data/atril.desktop.in
configure
configure.ac

All of them contain application/vnd-comicbook.rar instead of application/vnd.comicbook-rar. Is there any hope for it to be corrected at some point?
