using ttylog freezes the source terminal

Bug Description

here is the active sessions on system:

USER TTY FROM LOGIN@ IDLE JCPU PCPU WHAT
user pts/0 192.168.0.108 10:42 3.00s 0.12s 0.00s w
user tty3 - 11:30 17.00s 0.08s 0.05s -bash

command executed from pts/0:
ttylog -d /dev/tty3

once the above command called the tty3 terminal has frozen. So could not use any input to able to capture it on pts/0 with ttylog.
