Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This looks like an already reported bug. If that's the case you will get similar error messages as in bug 299427 when running "sudo apt-get install ttf-mathematica4.1" from a terminal window. Can you confirm this?

I confirm this. I have had a look at bug 299427 and when i tried the
command line in my terminal window. I have received the same answers
from the system.
I have the same problem, neither install nor uninstall this package do
function !
