Bug Description

I was just visiting tamil sites. I just found a problem in rendering sha letter across all applications(firefix, gedit), when using lohit tamil font. The letter sha when combined ka or cha or ta, it merges with the previous letter. It looks really ugly to see such words in a page. Other than this issue, lohit tamil font does render all other letters beautiful.
Installing the tamil language pack and restarting the m/c, didnt solve the issue in lohit tamil font.
Since lohit tamil font is available in "ttf-indic-fonts-core" folder, filed the bug in that package.

Attached screen shot which has "sha" collapsed with previous letters.

Steps:
1. Make sure you use lohit tamil font in the application you use
2. Then type ka+sha (phonetic input) in that application
3. "sha" letter will merge with "ka"
4. OR visit this link in browser which uses lohit tamil font "http://www.google.com/search?client=ubuntu&channel=fs&q=%E0%AE%95%E0%AE%B7%E0%AE%BE%E0%AE%AF%E0%AE%AE%E0%AF%8D&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8"

Expected Behaviour:
"Sha" should not get merged with previous letter "ka"

I am not sure about this issue in UPSTREAM of the package ttf-indic-fonts. So changed the status to "opinoin" for upstream alone. But this issue is reproducible consistently in UBUNTU 11.04
