Bug Description

Binary package hint: ttf-indic-fonts-core

Hello There!

I have the Jaunty version of Kubuntu, and so have the 1:0.5.4ubuntu2 version of ttf-indic-fonts. There's an issue with the font Lohit Tamil, rendering the Tamil consonant 'J' + vowel 'u' combinations '0B90 + 0BC1' and '0B90 + 0BC2'.

Examples (Not working case) : -
ஜு as in ஜுலை ('Ju' in July)

ஜூas in ஜூன் ('Juu' in June)

The diacritics in both cases appear above the consonant rather than beside it, with a space appearing beside instead. I suppose this must be a problem with the GPOS table, so the font, rather than the rendering engine, because such combinations with the consonant 'Sh' ('0BB7 + 0BC1' and '0BB7 + 0BC2') are rendered correctly, with the same diacritics appearing beside 'Sh', as they should be.

Examples (Working case) : -
ஷு as in ஷுகர் (Shukar...transliteration for Sugar)

ஷூ as in ஷூக்கள் (Shuukkal....= Shoes)

                                                                                                               Thank you!
