Bug Description

Binary package hint: transmission

Transmission in the repos of 10.04 is still at 1.80b5, which is a beta version. But 1.82 stable release is already out. Can you please update it, so everyone will have a stable Transmission?

This is a wish for 10.04 LTS Lucid Lynx.

Version 1.82-1 is in debian unstable. It should be merged once it's in testing.

This is the 3rd time since yesterday that somebody opened a request for this version.

We're not updating to 1.82 - we're going to wait until 1.83 on the advice of upstream. The explanation is in the master bug report.

@Chris: Don't be mad at me. I've used the search a bug-feature for about 10 minutes and didn't find any related bug to updating to 1.82
