2012-10-26 03:21:25 Mark Paskal description When using Transmission, I do not modify the default setting 'Save to Location', it should still be set to Downloads. But, if I download a torrent that creates a folder within Downloads, or make an empty folder myself, Transmission changes the Save-to location to this folder. The drop down in Preferences is not responsive, I click Downloads but it goes back to saying the name of whichever folder it has selected. I have deleted ~/.config/transmission. This did not solve the problem, it occurred again as soon as there was a folder within my Donwloads dir. What is expected to happen: Transmission saves all files and folders into Downloads and this setting does not change. What is happening: Transmission saves files into any folder it can find within Downloads. It changes the setting in Preferences and does not allow it to be changed back.
