Bug Description

Binary package hint: tracker

Tracker doesn't search in keywords.

Steps to reproduce on 9.04

1. Install tracker
2. Search for a File
3. Click 'add Tag'
4. Click on tag to search for it
5. No search result

Waiting/Re-Indexing doesn't change anything. trackerd.log and tracker-indexer.log don't show anything interesting either. Searching for anything else works fine.

Some Screenshots included.

Looking at the attachments in this bug report, I noticed that "Added tag to a file" was flagged as a patch. A patch contains changes to an Ubuntu package that will resolve a bug, since this was not one I've unchecked the patch flag for it. In the future keep in mind the definition of a patch. You can learn more about what qualifies as a patch at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Patches. Thanks!

My appoligizes, must have unintentionally checked the box. Just wanted to add another screenshot to the report. There is no way to attach 2 files to one post, isn't it?

Also noticed, that the type of the first file is text/plain now, which i suppose prevents it from opening in browser, offering a download dialog instead.

Ran into this bug, too. I think it's equivalent to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=610028.. Seems to be a gnome bug... I also noticed that deskbar-applet doesn't search tracker-tags, too...

Same here on 10.04 with tracker 0.8.0. finally managed to add tags through nautilus, and now I have to find out there's no way of making use of it yet. The Search Bar (0.7) does say the tag exists but doesn't display the files having that tag..

Same issue still here with Ubuntu 10.10 and Tracker 0.9.26.
I can add tags and find associated files with tracker-tag -t tag -s. But there isn't any possibility to search for tags in the search window.

Still same problem at moment of this comment. Ubuntu 10.04 tracker 0.9.5-0ubuntu-0unst and tracker-utils 0.9.5-0ubuntu-0unst. I really want a width tag system, it's quite incredible that there's any. Any tip will be welcome. Please, help!
