Bug Description

Binary package hint: tracker

Tracker 0.6.90-1ubuntu1 won't index any files, and logs the following error to my ~/.xsession-errors:

(trackerd:7691): Tracker-CRITICAL **: Couldn't disable all volumes, The name org.freedesktop.Tracker.Indexer was not provided by any .service files

This is because we don't install the tracker-indexer DBus service (which is new in 0.6.90), as a consequence of not wanting to install the trackerd DBus service.

This needs to be rectified for tracker to work

Note that this patch installs the tracker-indexer and tracker-extract DBus services, but leaves out the trackerd service like before

This bug was fixed in the package tracker - 0.6.90-1ubuntu2

---------------
tracker (0.6.90-1ubuntu2) jaunty; urgency=low

  * debian/tracker.install:
    - Install tracker-extract and tracker-indexer DBus
      services, as Tracker doesn't work without them (LP: #330679).
