Bug Description

Tracker makes some mistakes when indexing my files. For example if I search for "benedetta" in the search tool, it finds also mails from "Benedetto". I would like it to display only mails from "Benedetta". Is it a known bug?

Set the language specific stemmer and stopword list to use to Language=en in ~/.config/tracker/tracker.config and try again.

My system is in english, but I usually use Italian language, so I selected "Italian" in the list, and I set this file ~/.config/tracker/tracker.config in this way: Language=it
is this ok?

I suggested that you make an experiment. Run 'Language=en'. This will not destroy your program but you will need to re-index. Watch the outcome. If you are not satisfied, use your old setting again.

Is this still an issue for you? What Ubuntu version do you use? Thank you for telling us!
