Bug Description
Binary package hint: tracker
trackerd is consuming gigantic amounts of memory. this bug appeared recently and is making my machine unusable.
iv disabled it using indexing preference.
after about ten minutes of usage it shows on the system monitor the memory consumption of 900 megabyte!

when i ran the latest and fully updated version of Ubuntu i expect it to be usable meaning this isnt "fixed released"
if you uploaded a fix to the development version my pc is still unusable (if i didnt know how to fix this)
either you upload a update that disables tracker or you upload a fix.
out of politeness im not going to change this to "fixed committed" i know you want to drop the statistics on how many bugs are there in the current ubuntu release but that doesnt mean you can say a critical issue that is stopping peoples computer from working doesnt exist.
