tracker does not look into ms-word files

MS-Word files are report as having MimeType application/msword which is not listed in /usr/share/tracker/extract-rules/10-msoffice.rule

if application/msword is added to the list of supported MimeTypes tracker works fine

to reproduce the problem create a MS-Word file (anyfile.doc) and run:

/usr/lib/tracker/tracker-extract -f anyfile.doc

this produces beside some other output the following error:

MIME type guessed as 'application/msword' (from GIO)

As /usr/share/tracker/extract-rules/10-msoffice.rule silently gets reverted with updates for tracker-extract, it is very annoying to have tracker running without any functionality.

PLEASE ADD application/msword TO /usr/share/tracker/extract-rules/10-msoffice.rule, as otherwise tracker is of no use for people who must make use of MS-office formats!!!
