Bug Description
Binary package hint: tpconfig
I have a synaptics touchpad in my inspiron 8200. I'm running Gutsy. The touchpad is much too sensitive. So, I installed tpconfig and set the tap mode to 0. tpconfig says that the taps are turned off, but, sadly, they continue to operate, making life heckish.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10?
