Hi Wolfgang. If I understand you correctly, the problem is that the DVD doesn't play, and you don't get an understandable error message either. It's technically true that the DVD is encrypted, but you don't care about that. Therefore, this is a duplicate of bug 219062, that the error message is not helpful.
If I didn't understand correctly, please reopen this bug report. Thanks.
