Binary package hint: totem
I like streamtuner. So I install each time I test a new version of Ubuntu. As it's default it calls for xmms. I don't particularly want extra audio players on my machine so I change this to totem. However in xmms the title of the playing track changes when a new track start, however in totem this doesn't happen.
Steps to recreate:
1. Install streamtuner/xmms.
2. using streamtuners default note the changing song titles.
3. change the default setting in properties on stramtuner so it reads as totem %q instead of xmms %q
4. hit the play button on streamtuner again and note that the song title doesn't change.
The only reason I am marking this as a bug is because I believe this to be something that would be expected from any player on any other os. But mostly because if xmms can do this then I believe that it should relatively easy to get the code into totem to allow it to do it. |
