Binary package hint: totem-mozilla

i have sound and works well with mozilla-plugin-vlc but not with totem-mozilla.

Thanks for your bug. Do you use totem-gstreamer or totem-xine? Do you have an example of URI to try with? Do you have any error to ~/.xsession-errors about that?

no video has had sound work yet, but here's a random example:

that example makes sound when starting the video on my desktop. Do you use totem-gstreamer or totem-xine? Does playing the same video from totem itself works fine?

no, thats a good point. playing the video directly in totem does not work with sound either.

totem-gstreamer works when i play things locally, but nothing is displayed in firefox.

the totem-gstreamer looks like a different issue. Do you have sound with xine-ui? If that works fine with xine-ui that's probably a totem config issue, could you attach .gnome2/totem_config to the bug in that case?

i uninstalled totem-mozilla and re-installed and now video doesn't even work...just a black screen

Works fine on my feisty desktop, it might have been fixed by some of the totem change during the new cycle. If somebody still get the problem on feisty could you forward that upstream?
