I just saw a video with Totem 2.28.1 (GStreamer 0.10.25, Ubuntu 9.10) and at the end of the video, Totem froze (see the attached screen shot). I had to force its closing manually.
The video was Charlie Chaplin - The Great Dictator.divx:

I found a way to always reproduce the bug with this video:
1) In Totem, open the video.
2) To save time, put the cursor a few seconds from the end of the video, and play the rest.
3) When the video is end, minimize the Totem's window by clicking on the Totem's button of the Window List.
4) Click again on the Totem's button of the Window List to give focus to the Totem's window.
Then we have the bug: Totem's interface is froze.
