No mute in menu or mute hotkey

Binary package hint: totem

Totem doesn't include a mute item in the menu or a mute hotkey. Mute in the menu is required to use the built in gnome hotkey editing.

Thank you for your bug report, the mute multimedia key should work out of the box in GNOME why do you want a totem specific action there?

For a few reasons

* Totem's volume control scrollbar is independent of the system's volume control
* Media keys control system wide volume
* Totem already has volume up/down in the menu, these control totem's own volume

The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME
