Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

On Lenovo T500 base system, Jaunty 9.04 gnome upgraded from Intrepid:
find www.classicalarchives.com with firefox. (My Internet provided Time Warner cable & wireless router).
Activate one of the free play concerts.
I then have to struggle with the totem pause/start, time slider, playlist to start the music. Waiting a long time doesn't seem to work. Once it starts the compositions play with a fairly long interstitial quiet span. (Or disconnect, after which the struggle resumes.)

The problem might be the wireless driver, I suppose. I had to install this thing:
.compat_autoconf_master-2009-04-08-2-gd3990f2

Thanks, Dave.

Thanks for the report, that works fine here, there's no issue, could be due to the internet connection, do you get the same with another stream?

youtube videos seem to work about as well as the other computers in this
house (all connected through same ISP). I haven't tried high priority,

$ sudo nice -5 firefox # or totem

Otherwise, I'm quite clueless as to where to find more information.

Thanks, Dave.

could you try if that's still an issue?

Problem solved. Thanks!

I'm running Jaunty and have followed all updates suggested by update
manager. I also replaced gnash with the closed source version, which is
probably unrelated.
