Bug Description
Binary package hint: totem
I am faily new to using ubuntu (or any linux) Thanks to the wonderful community of users, I have been able to figure most of it out.
I cannot play dvds on my dvd r/w drive with totem (nor any of the other players available) Totem tells me there is an unknown error. Also sometimes that I may not have permission to open the volume.
I am using Ubuntu 8.10, computer has P4 proceesor
Installed: 2.24.3-0ubuntu1
Candidate: 2.24.3-0ubuntu1
Version table:
*** 2.24.3-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
2.
500 http://
The drive will read and write data cds. IT is definitely a DVD/ CD rw drive. The volume mounts, and a desktop launcher appears. I can open the disk and view files, but no movies.
