Bug Description

Went to http://arstechnica.com/reviews/apps/aperture.ars (off slashdot). Got a
strange message about totem and fd://0. Then I clicked the "next" link (above)
and browser segfaulted. I ran from the cmdline -- output below.

I too often get a segfault with the totem-mozilla-plugin. I also sometimes get the strange message about totem and fd://0.

Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you use totem-gstreamer or totem-xine? Could you get a backtrace of the crash using gdb?

run firefox
- gdb -p $(pidof firefox-bin)
(gdb) continue
...
get the firefox crash
(gdb) thread apply all bt
