Bug Description
Binary package hint: totem
I tried installing a Teratec Cinergy DVB-T USB2 adapter on a Dell Latitude with Hardy installed. It is detected by the kernel and Totem, however if I select a channel from the channel list, it only shows a black picture and no sound. Also, the radio stations do not emit any sound.
(I have generated a channel list via w_scan as described in http://
Here is how the device is detected:
[ 2758.118061] usb 5-1: USB disconnect, address 5
[ 2758.623740] usb 5-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 8
[ 2758.662940] usb 5-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[ 2758.670035] DVB: registering new adapter (TerraTec/qanu USB2.0 Highspeed DVB-T Receiver)
[ 2758.670744] input: TerraTec/qanu USB2.0 Highspeed DVB-T Receiver remote control as /devices/
