Bug Description

Video and audio are not synchronized when playing an ogg theora video.
To demonstrate this go to: http://www.redhat.com/solutions/info/videos/
and download "Security in a Networked World" ogg theora movie.
Then open it in a totem movie player. audio and video are not synchronized.

Thanks for your bug. The description lacks informations: what version of Ubuntu
do you use? Do you use totem-gstreamer or totem-xine? Do you use esound?
gstreamer0.8-esd is known to have A/V issue. If you use it could you try with an
alsasink from the multimedia selector?

I am using Ubuntu 5.10 with all the updates and totem-gstreamer.
Turns out I was using it with esound and changing it to alsasink from the
multimedia selector fixed A/V synchronization problem.
Could alsasink be the default behavior?
I don't think I ever changed my multimedia settings before, and esound sink was
chosen by default.
