No color in Video

Bug Description

All was fine at first. But my Ubuntu 7.10 is showing all video in black and white. Its like watching good old black and white picture. No matter if I use Totem movie player or VLC, the video is appearing in black and white.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please attach your X server configuration file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) and X server log file (/var/log/Xorg.0.log) to the bug report as individual uncompressed file attachments using the "Attachment:" box below. Could you please also try to run without any /etc/X11/xorg.conf and let Xorg autodetect your display and video card? Please also attach the /var/log/Xorg.0.log from this attempt. Thanks in advance.

This is not a bug. One must goto Edit --.> Preferences in Totem movie player and change the saturation. Though this may be annoying, it works. So rather than putting this a serious bug, I can suggest this as an improvement.

On the other hand how on earth did saturation change to near zero automatically? So is this a bug?
