Videos aka Totem application interface gui not responding while playing files

Application Videos/Totem on a fresh installation of Ubuntu 18.04.1 crashed shortly after it was launched for the first time. GUI interface is not responding to mouse-clicks on buttons such as play/pause.

Please let us know if you find the bug also occurs with any other apps over the next few weeks. I am thinking maybe bug 1747568 or bug 1181666...
