Please also:

1. Send us output from running 'vainfo' on your machine.

2. Send us a description of the type of file that you can't play.

3. Send us output from running 'dpkg -l'

4. Try 'mpv' instead of 'totem'.

5. Tell us what "can not see the image" means. Does that mean the window is black? Can you send a photo?

OK, thanks. H.264 high profile sounds like something your hardware supports.

For the moment I suggest using 'mpv', or if you need totem then use this workaround to play it less efficiently:

  sudo apt remove gstreamer1.0-vaapi

Hello Daniel van Vugt,

If I remove "gstreamer1.0-vaapi" you can see the video in Wayland with Totem.
