Bug Description

In /usr/share/applications/totem.desktop no MimeType key is specified. I believe this causes several tools to not be able to open video files. For example, the following commands fail silently:

xdg-open asd.mkv
gio open asd.mvv

The following command does open the file, but outputs it's being deprecated in favor of 'gio open'.

gvfs-open

I think his is basically https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=842805, but for Ubuntu instead of Debian, and on a Totem version where it has already been fixed for Debian.
