Bug Description

I tried totem-xine and gxine and they were both crashing when I tried to play
videos. The video stream started to display but no sound (appart from a loud
noise). I tried to uninstall lidmad0 and now the two players aren't crashing
anymore (but I have no sound). That's why I think the problem comes from lidmad0
when playing MPEG 2/3 streams in videos with totem-xine.

I hope this could be fixed soon, I think I have this problem since more than
three weeks. When the crash occur, Nothing interesting is displayed in the
console, the video player doesn't close, it keeps on reading the video stream
but I get a loud noise and a popup error message to report the bug.
