totem crashed with SIGSEGV Or 'No h.265 support in gstreamer'

Totem crashes trying to play simple h.265 file. Would think that at this point support could be enabled without using 3rd party plugin. ( https://launchpad.net/~strukturag/+archive/ubuntu/libde265 which works fine..

I had the same problem, but this bug now seems to be resolved at least for me. Totem now plays H.265 videos out-of-the-box without crashing.

Seems to have been resolved by recent gstreamer updates
