Totem does not exit from full screen mode on secondary monitor

Hi,

When running a movie in full screen mode on my second monitor (extended, not cloned) totem does not exit from full screen mode.
When clicking the button it just snaps back into full screen mode.
Have to Alt+F4 in order to quit.

are you using the desktop effects? I don't want to be biased but sounds like a compiz bug to me.

Yes, using compiz fusion.
Might be a compiz bug, can't really tell.

I have a dual monitor setup, no compiz, 2x nvidia geforce (1x AGP, 1x PCI). I can reproduce the bug in totem on my primary monitor (i.e. the one with my Gnome panel on it), but not on my secondary (it works as expected there). For what it's worth, what I call my primary monitor is the one hooked up to the PCI card, an my secondary one is attached to the AGP card.

This could be related to Gnome bug # 487931 [1] and Launchpad bug #153655.

I can confirm this bug under Ubuntu 7.10, both using Compiz and not using it. I have only one screen (laptop, Acer Aspire 1694WLMi with ATI graphics card). Like Dave, I can exit Totem only by pressing Alt+F4.

According to upstream, this bug should be fixed in Hardy.

If this is still a bug for anyone using an up-to-date Hardy install, please feel free to reopen.
