Bug Description

Totem crashes on the "Select Movies or Playlist" dialog in cases there is a .jpg
inlcuded in the specific folder I want to browse via this dialog. It looks like
the dialog switches to a mode wherein it can display a tumbnail of the picture.
But instead of that, the dialog is suddenly twice its size in lenght, and it
flickers very fast. I guess it fails to tumbnail the picture are starts
re-trying very fast, which causes the flickering. When I move the .jpg out of
the folder, the dialog won't crash.

I'm using a stock Ubuntu install, I got the totem-xine version though! Guess
that was also important to mention.

I think you needed this filed on Ubuntu, not on Bazaar.

are you using warty or hoary ? Do you have any error in the console if you run
totem from a console ?
COuld you get a backtrace (when it crashes on the details of the window to send
a bug) ?

Hmm the picture doest make Totem crash always, just when it's in certain folders
which contain nfo, mp3, sfv and m3u. Weird. I'm sorry I can't be more specific.
Gnome-terminal doesn't give me any output. I'm running Warty.

do you still get this issue with the current versions ?

Yes, I still run into this problem with similar directories. Although it's a
long time ago; I think I read about similar problems and which are/were handled
in the gnome bugzilla.

Although the bug is still here, I suggest close or so this bugreport. If the
dialog still crashes on the new gnome / hoary; ill re-open it. Sounds fair? I
really dont have a clue to get more specific.
