Bug Description

Feisty 7.04 with 2.6.20-15. x86 32bit

Attempting to play this audio stream.
http://cbc.ca/asithappens/media/dailyshow/2007-04-19-aih1.ram

Firefox help application shows Totem as default application for this download. Totem launches and produces error "An error occurred. Could not read from resource" After googling, I find out that this is RealAudio stream. I should of received codec warning that totem does not support realAudio and to install Realplayer 10.

Looks like Gnome/Gstreamer bug reported here: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319449

Newbie, would not be able to find solution for this...need more user friendly warning until Totem/Gstreamer bug is resolved. Or Ubuntu should prompt to install RealPlayer10 and setup the plugin within Firefox.

BTW, Great job on the codec automatic handling on 7.04..
