torbrowser-launcher fails to install browser

Trying to install this package results in verification failure on all attempts to install the browser.
System affected is Ubuntu 16.04 32 bit architecture.

This issue is present in the Third Point release of Ubuntu 16.04 (Witnessed just now in Ubuntu MATE 16.04.3)

workaround is:-

gpg --homedir "$HOME/.local/share/torbrowser/gnupg_homedir/" --refresh-keys --keyserver pgp.mit.edu
