Since this is still universe the prio is rather low, but it still is true and would help debugging.
Adding server-todo to check if we can find time for it. It also should be almost a bitesize task if one ignored that understanding apport integration itself can be non-bitesize :-)

Oh and surely only going forward in tomcat9 or maybe even tomcat10 once it is real.

And only together with Debian as we do not want to regularly need to merge a universe package.
Debian itself does not benefit, for them it is a no-op as they do not have apport.

Maybe prep/test and submit it to Debian and then add the Debian reference for tracking.

It is ok to disappoint this reporter (=me) and looking back this was a nice small work to get started in packaging but Debian rightfully said they are not interested.

Fixing it in Ubuntu is still an option to improve debugging, but TBH there hasn't been a case since I reported this that really needed it.
And OTOH we often have seen that while such reports are helpful they could lead to exposing something in the logs to the world.

Let us reconsider and mark this Won't Fix unless someone speaks up with a stronger reason.
