Bug Description
It looks like Tomboy breaks unity. It is not possible logout properly anymore if Tomboy runs, no matter if you run Unity 2D or 3D. Here is what I did:
1. Login Ubuntu 2D or 3D
2. Start Tomboy
3. Try to Logout
While Tomboy is running, Logout / Reboot / Restart takes tens of seconds and windows are reduced to old Gnome appearance (similar to when compiz crashes). After loggin in problems still show up. Only restarting allows to put system back to normal.
It was confirmed on 11.10 Live CD, x32 & x 64 fresh install with all updates. See also http://
I can still logout/ reboot/ restart, so I might have a different problem, but with Tomboy running when I log out the panel and launcher disappear but the desktop stays visible for a long while. The desktop icons seem to revert to grey GNOME ones and then it just sit there. It takes a good 30-40 seconds for the process to complete, instead of just a few seconds when I close Tomboy prior to logging out.
